July 2nd: The Async Research Institute tests the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System (Threshold) for the third time.
1989
October 17th: Async tests the Low-Proximity Magnetic Distortion System for the sixth time and successfully accesses the Backrooms.
November 14th: Async researchers take out a light for examination.
November 15th: Julia Meisner explains the contents of the light, as well as other things in relation with it, in a meeting with the Department of Energy.

February 3rd: Async personnel find the dead body of Nicolas Bolton inside the Backrooms.
February 5th: An autopsy is performed on the corpse.
February 29th/March 1st: Peter Tench goes missing in the Backrooms when he teleports into the future. This prompts the team to respond back to ASYNC. The organization sends out search efforts to find Tench but to no avail, leading to ASYNC having to cover up Tench's disappearance as a car accident to bring closure to the family.
March 5th: Motion detection cameras are set up in the Backrooms and a strange creature is filmed. Around this time, Async starts to build a safe room around the Threshold.
April 18th: Async discovered a new area of the Backrooms with paintings.
May 6th: Marvin E. Leigh falls into a hole and captures footage of the hostile creature. The footage is then reported to Async.
May 7th - 10th: A presentation explains ASYNC's efforts to colonize the Backrooms. Officials from the Department of Energy tour the Backrooms.
May 8th: Peter Tench, who got sent into the future, finds his way back into the Threshold, which triggers the motion alert. One of the senior engineers is sent down to assess the situation and identifies Tench as the one who went missing on February 29.
Sometime between May 9th and May 21st: ASYNC attempts to reintegrate Peter Tench back into society, but his mental state deteriorates.
